Breitling has officially announced the release of the Navitimer Ref. 806 1959 Re-Edition in recognition of the authentic Navitimer design. People who have been loyal to the brand will now be able to treasure an exclusive piece of Breitling’s legendary past. The Re-Edition stays true to the original design, featuring an all-black dial with tone-on-tone subdials and a rotating beaded bezel. In honor of this significant milestone, the timepiece has been created in an edition limited to 1959 pieces, all individually numbered and engraved on the caseback.

During the making, Breitling ensured the utmost attention to every detail in its predecessor's 1959 Navitimer design. You'll notice the unsigned winged logo rather than Breitling's recent logo, which was used in Europe exclusively. An ode to the its historical significance, the watch is finished on a black leather strap for the perfect aesthetic balance.
