Two pear shapes, set point to point, in the toi et moi arrangement that has anchored fine jewelry since the 18th century. The scale here is what sets it apart. Most two-stone rings pair stones under two carats. This one runs 6.25 total carats across a matched pair of pears.
The center emerald weighs 4.217 carats and measures 16.48 x 8.54 x 5.73 mm, giving it a long, narrow profile that spans most of the finger. Bellerophon Gemlab confirms Colombian origin with a Vivid Green color grade and notes the stone may be called Muzo Green in the trade, a designation reserved for the saturated bluish green associated with Colombia's Muzo mining district. The report lists a minor amount of clarity modification, standard practice for emerald, and faint fluorescence. Colour stability is graded stable.
The companion diamond weighs 2.03 carats, measures 11.23 x 7.03 x 4.05 mm, and grades E color with SI1 clarity on GIA report 3165831789. Polish and symmetry are both Very Good. Clarity characteristics are crystal and twinning wisps, positioned toward the point and away from the table.
The emerald sits in yellow gold prongs to warm the green. The diamond is held in 18K white gold, carried through the shank.
