Our Authorized Plaque Service Center
Located at our showroom in Lighthouse Point, FL, our Rolex Authorized Plaque Service Center is a proud member of Rolex’s worldwide service network. Equipped with Rolex-trained watchmakers in facilities modeled after those in Switzerland, technicians follow the Rolex Service Procedure that outlines specific guidelines for each model. Whether your watch needs a simple regulation to ensure accurate timekeeping or a link added to or removed from the bracelet, our trained watchmakers are standing by to give you their full attention.
According to Procedure
When our Authorized Plaque Service Center receives your Rolex watch, it is first subjected to a full examination to determine any timekeeping irregularities. State-of-the-art equipment is used to check chronometric precision as well as the watch’s power reserve, at which point disassembly begins: First, the watch’s movement is removed from the case, at which point any case parts found to be damaged are either repaired or swapped for Rolex-produced replacements. Depending upon its original factory finish, the watch case is either re-polished or re-satined, while the same procedure extends to the case back, bezel, and bracelet.
Meanwhile, the watch’s movement is inspected — all components are cleaned in an ultrasonic bath, after which parts are fixed or replaced. The movement is lubricated, examined once more, and replaced in the watch case. Finally, the entire watch is re-assembled and is ready for testing.

Testing 1, 2, 3
Once the watch is back together, it’s ready for a bevy of tests that ensure it is operating at factory specifications. A timekeeping assessment once again checks the watch’s accuracy and power reserve, after which the timepiece is observed over a 24-hour period. Following chronometric testing, the watch is pressure tested to ensure sufficient water resistance. Once returned to factory specifications particular to each Rolex model, each watch receives a guarantee.
