Shipping & Delivery

JR Dunn allows shipping to almost any address you wish. For your protection and our insurance requirements, we request a verified address for credit card payments. We will not ship to a PO Box.

What is a Verified address for credit card payments?
An address that your credit card company confirms as associated with your account.

Adding an approved alternate address is fast and easy:
Call the phone number on the back of your credit card and ask to add an alternate address for shipping. This will not change where your statement is sent, it will simply be an extra address that you've ok'd for shipping. Once this is done and verified we will ship to that address.

When shipping to you, JR Dunn provides free shipping and insurance and we adhere to the strictest guidelines to protect our customers and merchandise.  Your shipment will require a signature upon delivery.  If you receive a damaged shipment contact our offices and we will arrange for an onsite inspection of the package by the shipping carrier.  In order to receive any reimbursement for lost or damage merchandise we REQUIRE your cooperation with the inspection by the shipping carrier.

International Orders
Please create an account by clicking the Account link at the top right-hand side of our site. During signup we'll ask for your shipping address details including the country. If your country is not in the dropdown menu of available countries, we may not be able ship to you at this time. Please contact customer service for more information.

Shipping is automatically calculated prior to submitting your payment information. Simply add items to your cart and proceed to the Checkout page where you will be offered Shipping Method choices with their respective prices. Depending on stock status, we may ship your order shortly after we receive payment from you. Additional payment information or an alternative payment method may be required.

International orders may be subject to customs fees, import taxes, duties, or other fees imposed by your government. JR Dunn does not charge these fees, and has no control over the tax or duty fees. All such fees are your responsibility, and are not included in the shipping charges quoted to you. Please contact your customs office for information about additional fees.

Returns Policy & Instructions

JR Dunn.com makes buying online risk-free with the guaranteed assurance of our return policy. We want you to be happy with your purchase, so if for any reason you are not satisfied, you can return any item without custom engraving or sizing in its original condition for a refund or an exchange. Refunds will be credited in the same form as they were paid. Limits apply on Special Order items (special size, metal, etc.), so please contact us to determine if your item(s) qualify as a special order.

Jewelry: 30 days from the date of delivery with Nov & Dec returns extended to Jan 15th for online purchases only.
Watches and Watch Straps: 10 days from the date of delivery.
Mounted/Unmounted Loose Diamonds: 10 days from the date of delivery.

Shipping fees are non-refundable. Return shipping charges will only be refunded due to discrepancies and errors of JR Dunn Online. We only refund up to the price of standard ground shipping.

Returns may take one to two weeks to process and at least one billing cycle for the credit to appear on your credit card statement.

Processing a Return

STEP 1) Return Merchandise Approval (RMA):
Contact us at 866-362-5787,chat, email or through your account dashboard to request an APPROVED RMA number. RETURNS ARRIVING WITHOUT AN APPROVED RMA WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED AND WILL BE RETURNED TO SENDER. RMA's EXPIRE IN 14 DAYS.

STEP 2) Send item to JR Dunn
Please box all packages (more secure then envelopes). Include a copy of the packing slip, your RMA number, order number and original packaging. Include any diamond certificates, appraisals, certificates of authenticity (if not returned, you may be liable for a $250 replacement cost).

JR Dunn is not responsible for lost packages. We strongly recommend you insure your package. On your invoice, if the price of the item you're returning is listed as:

Less than $500:
Ship it via the carrier of your choice. Be sure to ship your item fully insured, in a box and request a return receipt for confirmation that your shipment has reached its destination.

More than $500:
Ship your package via US Postal Service Registered Mail, in a box, insured for the total value of the contents, and request a return receipt for confirmation that your shipment has reached us. (FedEx and UPS will not insure jewelry shipments over $500.)

STEP 3): Receiving
Upon receipt the item will be reviewed by our Quality Assurance department. Please note that items showing signs of wear, have security tags removed, have been engraved, altered, resized, or damaged cannot be accepted. Rings ordered in non-standard sizes are non-returnable (sizes other than 6, 7 for women and 10 for men). Returns without a receipt or items that are improperly packaged or uninsured will be refused receipt.

2) Enter your email address.
3) Select "I am a new customer".

Payment & Forms of Payment Accepted

JR Dunn Jewelers accepts Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover credit cards.  Your credit card will be charged within 48 hours prior to shipment of your item(s). However, at the time you place the order your card will be 'Authorized' for the amount of the purchase, meaning the card's status will be verified as in good standing.  The only exception to this policy is for the purchase of loose diamonds. When a Loose Diamond is purchased we will immediately capture 50% of the diamond price as a good faith deposit with the remaining balance authorized and captured at shipment.

JR Dunn accepts layaway payments. Please contact us for full information. Payments must be completed within a maximum of 90 days, merchandise will only be shipped once all payments are completed and processed.  All payments are non-refundable. Layaway plans may not be combined with special offers or used for sale merchandise.

JR Dunn accepts PayPal payments with the following restrictions: Payments must be completed within 24 hours, merchandise will be shipped once all payments are completed and processed. Paypal payments are only accepted for items under $3,000. The shipping address must match the verified address on file with PayPal. PayPal may not be used for shipments outside the USA.

Best Price Promise

Our Best Price Promise is only available on the indicated items and only applies to online purchases. You are eligible for a price-match if your request meets all of the following requirements:

-We must have the item in stock (marked with Ships in 24 Hours)
-Competitor must be a current authorized dealer in good standing with the vendor and their offer must be publicly advertised (online or in offline print) and presented to a J.R.Dunn representative.
-Qualifying items must be identical, brand new, never worn or altered current merchandise (not discontinued).
-Price match on verbal, emailed or handwritten offers cannot be accepted as a general rule.
-We cannot match going out of business "sales" or "closeout" prices since we plan on staying in business!
-For added reassurance, we honor the price match up to 7 days after you have purchased you item from J.R.Dunn.

Gift Certificate Redemption
Gift certificates are redeemable at checkout. If you would like to check the balance on your gift card log into “Account” in the upper right-hand corner of the screen and navigate to “My Gift Certificates” located in the left navigation of the Account page.
